Winter 2018 as a Proteger Contractor – what can Proteger do for you?
We know exactly what its like. The summer is a blur and money is coming in, then all of a sudden, winter arrives and we all struggle to get the work done (even though the phone still rings). I used to really stress at this time of the year. I had the lads sat around watching Loose Women and drinking tea waiting for it to warm up! This year has been particularly hard for our industry as we still had snow on the ground until mid April.
You can with some positive thinking see the weather as a business opportunity though….contact customers you work for cleaning pathways and drives in the summer and offer to de ice or move snow. It all helps and keeps you busy and gets your name out there for future works. Also it is a great time to hit the online advertising in earnest. The likes of Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram really help a small business. Yes it may not bring in job after job directly but indirectly, it keeps your name known.
